HVAC & Refrigeration Technician (Commercial & Residential)
Location: Jefferson City
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday with rotating on-call/weekends as needed
Pay Range

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated HVAC & Refrigeration Technician to service both commercial and residential systems. This role involves installation, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of HVAC and refrigeration equipment while delivering top-tier customer service.
Key Responsibilities
• Install, service, and repair commercial and residential HVAC and refrigeration systems
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and control system issues
• Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding system conditions and recommendations
• Accurately complete service documentation and reports
• Participate in on-call rotation and emergency service calls
Qualifications
• 1 year of HVAC and/or refrigeration experience (commercial and/or residential)
• EPA Certification (required)
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varied environments
Preferred Qualifications
• HVAC/R certification or technical school training
• Experience with commercial refrigeration systems
• Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs

HVAC Installer (Commercial & Residential)

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable HVAC Installer to join our team. The HVAC Installer will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and replacing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and/or commercial settings. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Install HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and ventilation systems
- Remove and replace existing HVAC equipment as needed
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation manuals
- Ensure installations comply with local building codes and manufacturer specifications
- Test systems to ensure proper operation and efficiency
- Connect electrical wiring, refrigerant lines, gas lines, and control systems
- Seal, insulate, and secure ductwork and components
- Identify and troubleshoot installation issues
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- HVAC certification or technical training preferred
- 1 year of HVAC installation experience
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and materials
- Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work in confined spaces, rooftops, and ladders
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions
